CDL Class A and Class B Drivers

Metzger Construction is looking for CDL Class A and Class B Drivers to join our team.
Position Overview: The driver is responsible for the transportation of material such as asphalt, stone, dirt, etc., to construction projects and company owned facilities or various customers. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Haul materials from location to location.
- Backing into HMA paving machine with asphalt.
- Spreading stone.
- Responsible for the safe operation of a dump truck.
- Keep truck clean and in good working order.
Other Requirements:
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
- CDL Class A or Class B license.
- Must pass a DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must maintain a safe driving record.
- Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week.
